Coach David Mor’s 

Licensed soccer coach extensively trained and experienced in coaching high school, college and competitive youth boys and girls of all ages for over 25 years. 

 

David Mor was born and raised in Tel-Aviv, Israel, and made a name for himself playing soccer for some of the top teams in the Israeli first division. 

In 2017, coach Mor was inducted into the Appalachian State university Athletic Hall of Fame. 

 

Coaching Qualifications: 

United State Soccer Federation (USSF): “A” license (expired) 

United State Soccer Federation (USSF): “B” license 

National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA): “Advanced National Diploma” 

The Israeli National Soccer Coaches Association (INSCA): “A” 

 

Coaching History: 

· 2015 – head coach for U9 & U15 boys at Boca Junior soccer club 

· 2015 - 2016 coach David Mor served as the Director of Coaching at the Athletico Southern California (ASC) youth soccer club. 

· 2016 – 2017 coached AYSO U-8 boys. 

 

Mor is well known in the greater soccer community from his involvement in college and club coaching. His most recent college coaching position includes 15 years as varsity head men’s soccer coach at Ohio Dominican University in Columbus, Ohio, and ten years with the Columbus Blast youth soccer club. 

 

He has led the men’s soccer at ODU to numerous achievements, including three Conference championships, and two trips to the NAIA Nationals. He has been named Conference Coach-of-the-Year two times. 

In addition to serving as head men’s soccer coach at ODU, coach Mor also served as a senior faculty member in the Health and Physical Education department, teaching exercise physiology. 

Education: 

David Mor attended Appalachian State University in Boone North Carolina where he received undergraduate and graduate degrees in Physical Education. He went on to earn a doctorate in Exercise Science from the University of Toledo, Toledo Ohio.
